Two narcissists falling in love is not common and the association culminating in a marriage is even more difficult. However, in rare cases it might happen. However, problems when two narcissists marry also come up as a consequence.
Let us discuss some of the problems when two narcissists marry.
1. Unhealthy Association
Problems when two narcissists marry are bound to arise as such relationship would be an unhealthy association in the first place. This is due to the fact that none of them would care for each other which is a paramount factor for success of any marriage. They will focus on their own needs and none of them would be interested in knowing what their spouse is feeling or going through. Success rate of such association is likely to be low in the long run and they will face a lot of problems.
2. Unfulfilling Relationship
Such a relationship is unfulfilling for both the partners. This is one of the key problems when two narcissists marry as both of them would be busy in fulfilling their own needs and they rarely have time to focus on their needs. Neither of them is interested in knowing about need of other and such a marriage is not likely to last long.
3. Unstable Relationship
Another of the key problems when two narcissists marry is the instability in relationship. As both of the partners would be busy in self-patronization and self-care, they are likely to compromise when it comes to caring for other partner. This will lead to conflicts and fights in the relation and none of them would be able to handle or deal with it even when others in the family or among their relations and friends are willing to help. The feeling of doubt and mistrust is so high on the spouse that the relation is not likely to work.

4. Toxic Relationship
Key problems when two narcissists marry is the toxicity in the relation which comes from day one. This is due to the fact that none of them would be caring for the other with true intent. This will lead to fights and misunderstandings from the initial days of the relationship. Such marriages at times even do not last for a month and in some cases when one of the spouses makes compromises which is less likely, the element of toxicity is so high that the marriage would end in two to three years at the maximum.
5. Marriage ends in Divorce
One of the problems when two narcissists marry is the fear of marriage breaking up in few months or years. This is due to the fact that none of the partner is willing to make compromise in long run. The element of narcissism which is built in their personality would eventually take over them and this will lead to problems which have no solution. In all likelihood, a marriage between two narcissists is likely to last as divorce.
This association between two narcissist is not likely to last long as both of them are self centered and both are busy in self-care and self-patronization. They often carve for respect and often try to take control of the relation which does not work out in a marriage.
To get over such problems when two narcissist marry, one needs a lot of wisdom, care, development of compassion and perhaps some counselling which .can save such relationship in some cases, if that is so.
